With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, "Big Hero 6" is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius-thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion-a robot named Baymax-and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery. "An entertaining first entry from the hybrid of Marvel and Disney with a lot of hearts and a lot of thrills albeit with a few flaws that is outshone by its excellence"

+/- Quirky and fun characters with standout performances by the main duo that plays well against each other, albeit with not a lot of time to flesh out the side characters
Wonderful CG animations with beautiful and imaginative aesthetic, locales and visuals as shown as the movie's city, San Fransokyo
Adult and heavy themes in contrast with recent Disney movies that is handled perfectly and balanced well with its more lighter side, with a few heartwarming and touching scenes
+/- Well executed action sequences but the reveal and the role of the antagonist is the low point of the plot
+/- A lot of creative license has been taken to convert the original comic series to the big screen for better or for worse
