Trolls will be based on the hit toy characters of the 90s. They lovable and friendly creatures who are famous for their crazy, colorful and magical hair. Their world is changed forever when their optimistic leader, princess poppy, and her polar opposite, branch, has to embark on a rescue mission which will take them to far-off places from the world they have ever known. Their quest will test their strength and reveal their true colors..

Cast
Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, Zooey Deschanel, James Corden, Gwen Stefani, ...

(Director Walt Dohrn (Shrek) & Mike Mitchell (Sky High), Budget - $120 Millions, Genre - Animation, Adventure, Family)

~ Another throwback intellectual property that was the product of its time and could be viewed as a bizarre concept now, making the attempt to give it a suiting contemporary backstory understandable although trying to match the original's quirky and bizarre concept would steer the movie to this particular extreme end of the spectrum

~ Based on its recent run-of-the-mill debut trailer, the overly sweet and bright tone is accompanied by the cartoony and psychedelic scenes surrounding the colourful characters as well, to its own detriment with its more juvenile take punctuated by the seemingly random musicals and bright colours
